Scope
What this replaces (and what it doesn't)
"Welding spreadsheet" can mean two different things. This welding spreadsheet alternative replaces the qualification register, not a weld map.
- Replaces: the welder and qualification register, the continuity log, revalidation dates, and the WPS and WPQR reference list.
- Adds: due-soon and overdue status, scheduled email reminders (by default 90, 60 and 7 days before, plus overdue), and a kept history of every continuity confirmation.
- Does not replace: a weld map, NDT execution, ERP or job costing, or your signed original certificates. Soteriaa does keep jobs with weld records, inspection results and issued traceability packs, which a weld traceability log might otherwise hold.

You do not have to throw anything away, and your signed certificates remain the original record. The welding getting-started guide walks through the first session.

Paste in your welder list
Paste the welder rows from your sheet into the starter import. Soteriaa proposes welder records for you to review; this step saves welders only.

Import qualification certificates

Add WPS and WPQR records by hand
WPS and WPQR import is not available, so type each procedure in from your sheet and choose the WPQR that supports each WPS.

Check each next continuity and revalidation date against your sheet, and set the workspace alert email that reminders go to.
