Getting started
Getting started with Soteriaa Welding Compliance.
Set up your workspace, add your welders, and start tracking qualification, continuity, WPS/WPQR and document evidence in one place. Soteriaa helps organise compliance records and reduce missed follow-ups — it does not certify welders, approve procedures, or replace your Responsible Welding Coordinator.

Before you sign up
What helps to have ready.
You can still create your workspace without every record. Anything missing can be tracked as an outstanding item rather than ignored.
- Company name and main site or workshop location
- Responsible Welding Coordinator or quality contact
- Welder names and any qualification records
- WPS and WPQR references, where available
- Continuity records and key renewal / revalidation dates
- Any current audit or certification follow-up items
Set up in seven steps
From an empty workspace to organised records.
Each step builds on the last. Incomplete records are flagged for review rather than treated as complete.
1
1. Create your workspace
Add your company name, primary and compliance contacts, and an alert email. Choose the Welding Compliance product so these records stay separate from other Soteriaa products.
2
2. Add welders
Record each welder's name, role, site, qualification standard and range, test and expiry dates, and continuity date. Incomplete records show as needing review.
3
3. Upload qualification evidence
Add certificates, continuity confirmations, test records, NDT evidence and review notes, linked to the relevant welder, procedure, or checklist category.
4
4. Add WPS & WPQR records
Capture procedure references, process, material group, thickness / diameter / position ranges, approval and review dates, and supporting evidence files.
5
5. Set alert rules
Set reminders for qualification expiry, continuity, procedure reviews and missing-evidence follow-ups, sent to your alert email and any configured recipients.
6
6. Review your dashboard
See welders on track, needing review, upcoming dates, missing evidence and outstanding follow-ups at a glance — an internal visibility tool, not a compliance determination.
7
7. Export packs when needed
Generate internal record packs for review, audit prep or customer evidence — welder summary, qualification and continuity evidence, WPS/WPQR references, document index and missing items.

Maintain a clearer record history and reduce missed follow-ups across your team.
Honest about scope
What Soteriaa does not do.
Soteriaa is operational software for organising records — not a certification body, inspector, or adviser.
- Certify welders or approve welding procedures
- Replace a Responsible Welding Coordinator, inspection, NDT or third-party review
- Guarantee compliance with ISO, EN, ASME, AWS, client or regulatory requirements
- Submit records to a certification body or notified body
- Provide legal, engineering, or certification advice
This guide is for general record-management information only. It is not legal, certification, or standards interpretation advice.
First setup checklist
Aim to complete this in your first session.
1
Company & welders
Add your company details and at least three welders.
2
Evidence
Upload one qualification certificate and one continuity record.
3
Procedure & alerts
Add one WPS/WPQR reference and set the alert email.
4
Confirm & export
Confirm the next qualification or continuity follow-up date and generate one internal record pack.
FAQ
Common questions
How does the 14-day free trial work?
You can start with a 14-day free trial. Billing starts after the trial unless you cancel before it ends, and you can manage or cancel your subscription from Billing settings at any time.
Can I set up a workspace if my records are incomplete?
Yes. You can create your workspace without every record ready. Missing or incomplete records are shown as needing review or tracked as outstanding items rather than treated as complete.
Does Soteriaa certify welders or approve welding procedures?
No. Soteriaa helps organise and track records. It does not certify welders, approve welding procedures, replace inspection or NDT, or guarantee compliance with ISO, EN, ASME, AWS, client, or regulatory requirements.
Who should review the records?
Use Soteriaa as an internal visibility tool. Your Responsible Welding Coordinator or responsible person should still review the underlying records before relying on them.
