Records and due dates by workspace

A due date in Soteriaa is a date you enter on a record, and the app compares it with today's date: welding marks continuity due soon within 30 days, sponsor marks deadlines urgent within 30 days, and RAMS, HR and commercial list dates in the next 30 days.

Welding documentation

Records

  • Welder: name, identification, status (active or inactive) and join date.
  • Qualification: standard, welding process, material group, product type, joint type, position, thickness and diameter ranges, backing, date qualified, examining body, certificate number and revalidation basis.
  • Continuity confirmation: each confirmation is kept with its evidence link.
  • WPS and WPQR: procedure records. They carry a test date only, so they create no due dates and no reminders.
  • Job: a job with its weld operations, controlled procedure revisions and issued packs. See Versions, history and sign-off.
  • Document: a stored PDF or Word file linked to a welder, qualification, WPS, WPQR or the company.

Fields that create due dates

  • Next continuity due: filled in as six calendar months after the date qualified. You can overwrite it. If you later change the date qualified, a date that was derived is refreshed and a date you chose yourself is kept.
  • Revalidation due: entered by you. The revalidation basis is 3-year, 2-year (NDT) or Unlimited (ISO 3834). With the unlimited (ISO 3834) basis there is no revalidation date.
